Some residents may be receiving a postcard (see below) in the mail regarding Lead-Based Paint Inspections.
This is not a scam.
This is an attempt to identify rental dwellings in Sandyston Township due to NJ State Law (N.J.S.A. 5:28A) that went into effect requiring landlords to have rental units inspected if they are built before 1978.

We have retained LEW Environmental through a Professional Services Agreement; however, if you are required to have this inspection you are not required to use this company for the inspection. You can have the inspection performed by any licensed lead inspector and provide the required certification to Sandyston Township. We have tried to streamline the process to make this process easier for you.
