Dog Licenses Required

Dog license renewals were mailed Saturday, December 19, 2024. Please check your form to see if an updated rabies certificate is required. Mail renewals in NOW (grace period until Feb 10th) to avoid late fees. If you no longer have a dog, no longer live in Sandyston or your dog has unfortunately passed 🥹, please call us at 973-948-3520 x200 or x201 so we may update our information.

If you are a renter or recently moved to Sandyston please be sure to license your dog. Now is the time to get your license for your dog.

To obtain a license, please fill out an application, see the link below, (forms available on our website or in the document box located at the front doors of municipal building).

Dog licenses maybe dropped off at the municipal building (municipal drop box available to the left of the front doors of municipal building - it’s green & secured to building) or mail payment to 133 Route 645, Sandyston, , NJ 07826. Remember to provide spay/neuter information and valid Rabies certificate with an expiration date of at least November 1, 2025 (per state statute) or properly signed rabies exemption.

The fee is $13 for unaltered dogs & $10 for altered dogs.

Spay/neuter information is only needed upon first registration.
